Yes, you will be able to shortly.

Many people have stepped forward to volunteer with corrections, so I will be able to start accepting them soon. Either late this week (May 29th), or early next week (June 1st). I will add a link to each persons information balloon in Google Earth, which will take you to a corrections page, and I will also create a webpage where you can view their information and submit changes without needing Google Earth.

Because it's important to verify that the submitter has the authority to make corrections (friend/classmate vs. family member), your changes won't appear immediately in the map. We will verify information one of two ways:
  1. In addition to the correction information, if possible, please provide web links with new reports, family memorial sites, etc. that also mention the correct information
  2. If you cannot provide web links to support your request, a volunteer will need to contact you directly, probably by phone.
Once the information has been verified, I'll add it to the queue of changes, and the next time I rebuild the layer, your changes will be included. I will also try to work out a mechanism by which you will be notified when the changes have been complete.
